AfrAsia Bank Roadshow: Johannesburg business elites under one roof

On the evening of 31 January 2018 AfrAsia Bank’s South African Representative Office together with Abax Services and Blue Life presented ‘Invest in Mauritius’ at a venue in the Melrose Arch precinct, Johannesburg.

Speakers included Colin Grieve (AfrAsia Bank), Ernest Mazansky (Werksmans Attorneys),  Richard Arlove (Abax Services) and Christophe Froberville (Blue Life).

Presentations covered a variety of topics including Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS), options for South African businesses to operate out of Mauritius, the practicalities of banking in Mauritius as well as obtaining permanent residency by investing in real estate with a focus on the Azuri Resort. The evening concluded with a networking cocktail party.

Messages were targeted at companies and private individuals and the event was graced by over 100 top executives. Given the positive feedback our South African office intends to host similar events on a more regular basis presenting different Mauritius-themed topics to a broader cross-section of South African business people and individuals.
