Exceptional world class golf talents and lively spectators added to the ambience. Countless volunteers, the golf course team, our partners and our sponsors whose tireless efforts made the event go off without a hitch cannot be thanked enough for their commitment.

Congratulations to  the 18-year-old Danish Rasmus Højgaard who impressed us with his historic victory. We thank all the participants, the European, Asian and Sunshine Tours, the Organising Committee as well as Heritage Resorts for hosting such a world-class event. The 2019 edition of the competition will continue to be recognised as featuring the strongest field in its tri-sanctioned history. It is also strengthening the Mauritius brand as a leading golfing, tourist, financial and investment destination.

The tournament has clearly confirmed that the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open is becoming a prestigious event on the global golfing calendar. What makes this sporting action unique to our Bank Different and relationship driven approach, is that our clients get to play alongside star golf players, before the onset of the major event, during the Pro-Am. Congratulations to the delighted winning team of the 2019 edition namely Kervin Magdelaine, Nicolas Perrier, Michel Chan Sui Ko and Keith Horne.

We look forward to welcoming everyone again next year on the green!
