AfrAsia Bank wins 4 awards at the EMEA Finance’s African Banking Awards 2018

AfrAsia Bank bags 4 honours at the 11th edition of the EMEA Finance’s African Banking Awards 2018 held on 6 Dec 2018 at the Law Society in London. AfrAsia Bank has been recognised as the Best Bank in Mauritius, retaining this award for the second consecutive year. In addition to this, the Bank was honoured for the first time in the categories Best Investment Bank in Mauritius and the Most Innovative Bank Pan-Africa. Furthermore, Sanjiv Bhasin has been acknowledged as the CEO of the Year 2018 at this awards ceremony.  

 

Each year EMEA Finance, a specialist in reporting financial and banking development in Europe, Middle East and Africa, acknowledges banks for the best overall performance by country and region. These awards afford special attention to the financial institutions that are pushing the industry forward with new and innovative products and services, excelling in investment banking, increasing the number of banked individuals, and giving back to the community through their corporate social responsibility programmes.

The annual EMEA Finance’s African Banking Awards has strict global eligibility criteria and besides AfrAsia Bank, the winners comprise of reputable banking institutions worldwide including Standard bank, Citi, Societe General, JP Morgan amongst others.
