The Pound Sterling remained supported at $1.3640 after stronger-than-expected UK Services PMI data released on Friday showed a rise to a six-month high of 52.8, reinforcing signs of resilience in the UK economy.
USD/JPY
The Japanese Yen gained ground at $158.90 on stronger-than-expected inflation data, which accelerated for a second straight month.
USD/ZAR
The South African rand strengthened at $158.90 on the back of a weaker US Dollar, higher gold prices and supportive bond flows providing much support, although geopolitical and monetary-policy risks remained a concern.
