EUR/USD

The Euro edged slightly higher at $1.1478 amid improved risk sentiment as traders pinned their hopes on US-Iran talks.

GBP/USD

The pound sterling remained little changed at $1.3390 as the recent BoE’s cautious policy stance weighs on the pound, with UK flash PMI data due tomorrow in focus.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen fell to $157.45 amid a lack of explicitly hawkish guidance from the Bank of Japan after the rate hike last week.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar held steady at $0.7125 as markets are pricing about a 90% chance the RBA will hike by a quarter-percentage point next week.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar weakened to $1.4030 as US-Canada trade tensions, along with a firmer USD add pressure to the currency.

USD/ZAR

The rand steadied at $16.25 as investors awaited August inflation data and the SARB’s policy decision tomorrow, with analysts expecting a rate hike.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee remained unchanged at 48.37 (selling) this morning.
