The South African rand retraced to 16.2079 against the greenback ahead of key domestic inflation data due today.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro descended to $1.1429 with growing political uncertainty in Germany, offsetting support from expectations of an additional ECB rate increase.

GBP/USD

The British Pound traded with a softer bias against the US Dollar at 1.3318 reflecting the Bank of England's cautious policy stance and market concerns over slowing growth coupled with persistent inflation.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen was softer at $157.65 following the meeting of the Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and US President Donald Trump to deepen bilateral economic security ties.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar doused to $0.7104 following the release of weaker-than-expected preliminary September PMI figures.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar is struggling to find support as a marked drop in oil prices weighs on the currency while trading at $1.4081 this morning. 

USD/ZAR

The South African rand retraced to 16.2079 against the greenback ahead of key domestic inflation data due today. 

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee shot to 48.60 (selling) this morning.
