The Pound Sterling gained few pips supported by recent resilient UK data, including stronger-than-expected August retail sales.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro ticked lower to $1.1475 as concerns about a possible Russian escalation against Europe weigh on the Euro.

GBP/USD

The Pound Sterling gained few pips to $1.3375, supported by recent resilient UK data, including stronger-than-expected August retail sales, which has kept expectations of tighter BoE policy elevated.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen remained under pressure but stabilized around $157.07 after last week’s roughly 2% decline, with Japanese markets closed for a holiday and liquidity thin.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar remained range bound around $0.7125 as markets await RBA Governor Michele Bullock's speech on Tuesday ahead of Australian employment details and the Trump-Xi meeting during the latter part of the week.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar eased to $1.4005 following a decline in oli prices to over one-week low as a recovery in shipments from Saudi Arabia eases supply concerns.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand yoyoed within familiar territory at $16.2398 ahead of key CPI figures and the SARB's monetary policy decision this week.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee retraced by 8cents to 48.37 (selling) this morning.
