The Japanese Yen lost momentum as the impact of the recent U.S.-Japan intervention began to fade.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro traded flat near $1.1540 as markets seemed hesitant to place aggressive bets and opt to wait for further developments surrounding the Middle East crisis and this week's release of the latest US inflation figures.

GBP/USD

The British Pound stayed resilient around $1.3500, with sterling benefiting from relatively stable UK rate expectations, but gains remained capped by a cautious BoE outlook.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen lost momentum to $159.20 as the impact of the recent U.S.-Japan intervention began to fade. Furthermore, higher oil prices added pressure through a rise in Japan’s import costs.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar dipped below 0.7050 after the RBA kept rates unchanged, saying inflation might not return to its target until late 2027 and warned of upside risks, while keeping the door open to further rate hikes.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar stayed firm near $1.3930, supported by stronger oil prices and recent solid Canadian employment data.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand held steady around $16.19 with firm gold prices helping offset some pressure from global risk and oil.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee climbed to 47.75 (selling) this morning.
