EUR/USD

The Euro remained under pressure at $1.1206 as market monitor growing concerns surrounding France’s fiscal position ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

GBP/USD

The British Pound eased to $1.3213 amid rising oil prices have reignited concerns over UK inflation, reinforcing the view that interest rates are likely to stay higher for longer.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen remained supported at $158.22 by growing expectations of BoJ policy tightening and fears of official intervention.

AUD/USD

The Aussie Dollar stayed on the defensive against the US Dollar at 0.6957 after hawkish FOMC meeting minutes reinforced expectations of a restrictive Federal Reserve policy stance.

 

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar has been weighed down to $1.4262 by persistent US-Canada trade tensions, slowing economic growth, and the Bank of Canada’s (BoC) dovish policy bias.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand retraced to $16.6536 with brent crude staying above $100 a barrel as oil prices gained on persistent Middle East supply risks and severe weather threatening US oil-producing areas.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee inched up by 14cents to 48.23 (selling) this morning.
