EUR/USD

The euro edged higher from recent lows at $1.12134 as the overnight slide in US bond yields weighed on the USD.

GBP/USD

The British Pound retraced to $1.3243 despite concerns over the UK's fiscal position.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen ticked up modestly at $158.03 as markets remain on high alert amid speculation that authorities will step in to prop up the JPY.

AUD/USD

The Australian dollar recovered slightly to $0.6985 as the US dollar softened alongside falling US Treasury yields, however, gains remain limited by cautious risk sentiment.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar gained some pips to $1.4210 supported by crude oil prices.

USD/ZAR

The South African rand strengthened to $16.50, supported by a softer US dollar despite disappointing domestic manufacturing data, which showed output falling 4.3% year-on-year in August.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee traded lower by 7 cents to 48.16 (selling) this morning.
