The Shared currency slid post ECB, U.S inflation data eyed
Fundamental News

EUR/USD
The Shared currency slid to $1.0627 as euro zone borrowing costs hit an eight-year high after the European Central Bank signaled it would hike interest rates next month for the first time since 2011.

 

GBP/USD
The Cable dropped to $1.2493 as traders remained skeptical over Britain’s economic conditions amid Brexit, covid and the Russia-Ukraine tussles.

 

USD/JPY
The Japanese yen gained traction to 133.91 per U.S dollar, unbothered by Japan’s below that expected PPI and ahead of U.S. inflation data.

 

AUD/USD
The Aussie dollar rose to $0.7122 unfazed by unimpressive China inflation data.

 

USD/CAD
The Loonie lost ground to 1.2696 against the U.S dollar, investors eyes for Canadian employment data due later today.

 

USD/ZAR
South Africa's rand edged lower to 15.44 versus the greenback on Thursday, after poor mining and industrial production data dampened investor confidence.

 

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee climbed by 15 cents to 44.20(Selling).
