U.S dollar nursed losses amid virus woes probe risk-on mood.

EUR/USD
The single currency popped from $1.2136 to $1.2208 on broad dollar weakness amid US President-elect is expected to announce additional fiscal stimulus on Thursday.

 

GBP/USD
The cable vaulted to $1.3675 on comments from Bank of England Governor Bailey on Tuesday that the viability of negative interest rates dampened some expectations of sub-zero rates in Britain.

 

USD/JPY

Japanese Yen rocketed to 103.60 per greenback despite reports that the Japanese government is mulling plans to expand a state of emergency it declared for the Tokyo area to seven additional prefectures on Wednesday.

 

AUD/USD
The Aussie spiked to $0.7760 as a record high covid-led deaths over world probes risk-on mood.

 

USD/ZAR
South African rand rocketed to 15.23 against the dollar following South Africa had secured 20 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, which would be delivered mainly in the first half of the year.

 

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee stayed put at 39.70(selling) on the domestic market.
