Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro weakened to $1.1520 as escalating geopolitical tension continued to weigh on the currency.

GBP/USD

The Pound Sterling remains under pressure at $1.3279 as concerns over a potential U.S ground invasion in Iran dampen demand for risk-sensitive assets.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen was unbothered at $159.66 despite intervention warnings.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar eased to 0.6869 against the greenback amid the Australian government, led by Anthony Albanese, will temporarily halve fuel excise on petrol and diesel for three months.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar drifted lower to 1.3896 versus the U.S dollar as fears grow that U.S ground operations in Iran could trigger a broader escalation in the region.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand recovered to $17.0553 in spite of rising oil prices.

USD/MUR

The Dollar-Rupee gained 13 cents to 47.35 (selling) this morning.
