The British Pound gained momentum as BoE policymakers signal potential rate increases due to elevated energy prices.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro remained range bound around $1.1380, pressured by hawkish signals from the Federal Reserve and escalating Middle East tensions.

GBP/USD

The British Pound gained momentum at $1.3245 as BoE policymakers signal potential rate increases due to elevated energy prices.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen appreciated modestly to $157.70 after markets reacted little to the July BoJ meeting Minutes, which showed that members agreed financial conditions are accommodative and that firms are steadily passing on rising raw material costs, keeping inflation elevated.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar gained few pips to $0.7025 as RBA is expected to announce a 25-basis-point hike tomorrow.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar declined to $1.4155 as the widening interest-rate differential between the United States and Canada is expected to grow after the Bank of Canada kept its key policy rate unchanged at 2.25% at its September meeting.

USD/ZAR

The South African rand remained weak around $16.40 as South Africa's weak economic growth and elevated oil prices continue to pose risks for the currency.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee dropped to 48.19 (selling) this morning.
