The Pound Sterling was little changed as markets continued to balance expectations of at least one further BoE rate hike against uncertainty over UK's fiscal outlook under the new government.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Single currency recovered to $1.1405 as renewed optimism over potential US-Iran diplomatic progress pressured the U.S Dollar.

GBP/USD

The British Pound was little changed at $ 1.3355 as markets continued to balance expectations of at least one further BoE rate hike against uncertainty over UK's fiscal outlook under the new government.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen gained from lower oil prices around $163.55, after the United States decision to refrain from striking Iran over the weekend, paired with Tehran suspending its own retaliatory strikes.

AUD/USD

The Australian dollar inched to $0.7002 after strong Australian June employment data boosted expectations of another RBA rate hike.

USD/CAD

The Canadian dollar remained pressured at $1.4085 by weak domestic indicators and softer oil prices.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand faced renewed headwinds at $16.6928 following the South African Reserve Bank’s latest policy announcement and as easing tensions in the Middle East have weighed on oil prices, improving the rand’s overall outlook.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee fell by 10cents at 48.04 (selling) this morning.
