The British Pound languished ahead of the Bank of England's monetary policy due this afternoon.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro slipped to near 1.1450 as Fed raised rate for first time in three years by 25 basis points to a 3.75%–4.00% range at its September policy meeting yesterday, as widely expected.

GBP/USD

The Pound Sterling languished near $1.3380 ahead of the Bank of England's monetary policy due this afternoon where it is widely expected the BoE leave their interest rates unchanged at 3.75%.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen lowered slightly to $155.76 as the focus is now on the Bank of Japan’s key interest rate decision due tomorrow morning.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar fell modestly around $0.7110, pressured by renewed geopolitical risks.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar weakened sharply to $1.3990 pressured by the widening Canada–US rate differential after the Fed hike, while oil also struggled to hold above US$100.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand slipped to $16.3372 failing to gain support from better-than-expected S.A retail sales data.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee remained firm at 48.37 (selling) this morning.
