The Euro steadied against the greenback while the ECB left their interest rates unchanged as expected.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro steadied at 1.1790 against the greenback while the ECB left their interest rates unchanged as expected yesterday afternoon. 

GBP/USD

The Pound Sterling has fallen to around $1.3560 after the Bank of England kept held its interest rates steady at 3.75% but adopted a more conciliatory tone than the markets had anticipated.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen edged up from a two-week low at 156.70 versus the U.S dollar as traders trim short positions ahead of Japan’s snap election. 

AUD/USD

The Australian dollar weakened slightly to 0.6955 against the greenback as investors pull back from risk, despite expectations of a possible RBA rate hike.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar stayed put at $1.3685 supported by rebounding oil prices. 

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand slipped back to 16.20 as risk‑off sentiment hit emerging‑market currencies. Investors sought safe havens like the USD, while gold and platinum prices fell.

USD/MUR

The Dollar-Rupee maintained its current level at 46.50 (selling).
