EUR/USD

The Single currency recovered from earlier dips to $1.1535 as hopes for a diplomatic resolution in the Middle East and discussions regarding the Strait of Hormuz eased safe-haven flows into the greenback.

GBP/USD

The British Pound trod water around $1.3460 as investors continue to digest the Bank of England's cautious policy outlook ahead of the UK Services PMI and Composite PMI data due tomorrow. 

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen stabilized after its recent gains at $157.65, with the Yen holding firmer as the impact of the rare coordinated U.S.-Japan intervention continued to support the currency.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar climbed to $0.7050, shrugging off weak Chinese RatingDog Services PMI for July as improving global risk sentiment and lower oil prices supported commodity-linked currencies

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar threaded within familiar territory at $1.4073 amid weakening crude oil prices undermining support for the Loonie.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand recovered to 16.3522 against the greenback with limited major domestic economic data available influenced by global developments.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee dropped to 47.65 (selling) this morning.
