EUR/USD

The Single currency meandered at $1.1720 ahead of Inflation data in Germany to be released during the day.

GBP/USD

The Pound Sterling idled at $1.3430 ahead of U.K Gross Domestic Product data due today.

USD/JPY

The yen plopped at 148.56 against the greenback despite a disappointing Japan's Industrial Production data for August.

AUD/USD

The Australian dollar jumped to $0.6605 after Australia’s interest rate was unchanged to 3.6% as expected.

USD/CAD

The Canadian dollar advanced to 1.3915 against the greenback as Democrats reject Republican bill, fueling concerns over US government shutdown.

USD/ZAR
The South African rand inched up to 17.25 against the U.S Dollar on higher gold prices, while traders eyed a slew of local economic data that could offer clues on the health of Africa's largest economy.

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee rose by 6cents to 46.11 this morning.
