The Greenback rallied despite the prolonged U.S. government shutdown.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Single currency sank to $1.1615 as political woes in France triggered fears that the country might miss a deadline to present its 2026 budget bill.

GBP/USD

The Cable collapsed to $1.3388 on broader U.S. Dollar strength, fueled by risk aversion due to the sustained government shutdown in the U.S.

USD/JPY

The Yen spiralled down to 152.34 against the greenback, undermined by a lower-than-expected Labour Cash Earnings number in Japan.

AUD/USD

The Australian dollar slumped to $0.6561, influenced by an aggressive interest rate cut in New Zealand, one of Australia's largest trading partners.

USD/CAD

The Canadian dollar crumbled to 1.3968 against the greenback, ahead of the Fed's Open Market Committee minutes tonight, while an uptick in oil prices failed to support the currency.

USD/ZAR
The South African Rand slid to 17.25 against the US dollar, despite the South African Reserve Bank reporting an improved foreign exchange reserve on Tuesday.

USD/MUR

The dollar-rupee soared to 46.21 (selling) this morning.
