The Single Currency cheered by Christine Lagarde's speech on persisting inflation in Europe.
Fundamental News

EURUSD

The Single currency firmed at $1.0645 as European Central Bank's chair, Christine Lagarde, stated on Sunday that the underlying inflation in the Eurozone will stay high in the near term. 

GBPUSD

The Cable climbed to $1.2035 on stronger British PMI figures published last Friday. 

USDJPY

The Japanese Yen regained some traction at 135.70 against the greenback on receding optimism about the Fed's hawkish moves. 

AUDUSD

The Australian Dollar stayed in a lethargic mood at $0.6750 on mixed Chinese news. 

USDCAD

The Canadian Dollar traded sideways, around 1.3590 against the U.S. dollar, ignoring the recent uptick in oil prices. 

USDZAR

The South African Rand juggled at 18.15 against the greenback as a study by Reuters signalled the big surge in blackouts in recent months may cause the economy to contract. 

USDMUR

The U.S. dollar steadied at 46.80(selling) against the rupee.

The Canadian dollar swirled in a roller coaster move, falling to 1.3600 against the U.S. dollar as the Bank of Canada delivered a lower-than-projected rate hike of 50 basis points but later gained to 1.3530 on broad dollar weakness.
