The Shared currency lost steam ahead of busy central bank week
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Cable dropped to $1.2506 on back of political pessimism surrounding UK PM Boris Johnson’s future and likely measures to tame British housing problems.

USD/JPY
The Japanese yen pressured down to 130.66 against the U.S dollar after U.S job reports showed that employers added 390,000 jobs in May, which is above investor's forecasts.

AUD/USD
The Aussie dollar slipped to $0.7263 ahead of RBA's interest rate decision due in tomorrow's Asian session.

USD/CAD
The Canadian dollar ticked down to 1.2574 against the greenback as oil prices struggle around a three-month high as China’s post-covid unlock battles supply-linked headlines.

USD/ZAR
South Africa's rand fell to 15.48 per U.S dollar after a better than expected U.S. employment report that could encourage the Federal Reserve to keep going with its rate rises.
