Aussie plummeted to $0.7035 on mounting expectations of monetary easing on the next RBA meeting.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD
The single currency spiked to $1.1775, fuelled by brighter market mood, as Washington lawmakers are indecisive to reach an agreement on coronavirus stimulus ahead of a Tuesday deadline that would make a relief package possible ahead of the Nov. 3 elections.


GBP/USD
The cable cascaded to $1.3024 to $1.2942 on reports from Britain's chief Brexit negotiator Frost that there was no basis to resume trade talks with the European Union unless there was a fundamental change in Brussels' approach to negotiations.

 

USD/JPY
The Japanese Yen edged lower to 105.52 against the dollar, even after U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin "continued to narrow their differences" in a telephone conversation on Monday concerning fiscal stimulus packages.

 

AUD/USD

The Aussie plummeted to a three-week low of $0.7035 on increasing expectations of monetary easing next month by the country's central bank.

 

USD/ZAR
The South African tumbled from 16.41 to 16.55 per dollar despite hopes of a U.S. fiscal package.

 

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee stayed afloat at 40.30(selling) on the Mauritian market.
