The Shared currency rocketed to $1.2072 on hopes for rekindled U.S. stimulus talks

EUR/USD
The Shared currency rocketed to $1.2072 on optimism that the U.S will restart stimulus talks improved risk appetite.

 

GBP/USD
The Cable surged to $1.3413 after Times Radio said Brexit trade deal talks have entered the "tunnel" stage of negotiations.

 

USD/JPY
The Japanese yen hovered at 104.44 against the greenback despite the Deputy Governor Masayoshi Amamiya stated the Bank of Japan will not hesitate to roll out additional easing measures if necessary.

 

AUD/USD
The Aussie dollar gained to $0.7366 after data showed Australia's economic growth rebounded by a record 3.3% in the third quarter as an easing in pandemic restrictions unleashed pent-up consumer demand.

 

USD/ZAR
South African rand climbed to 15.28 against the U.S dollar recouping most of the previous session as hopes of a coronavirus vaccine and signs of economic recovery around the world kept investors interested in risk assets.

 

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee dropped by 5 cents to 40.30(selling).
