The Shared currency rose to $1.1730 on easing concerns about Trump's health, as investors prepare for the run-up to the next month's U.S presidential election.

 

GBP/USD
The Pound sterling meandered at $1.2936 after German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she had no breakthrough to announce from EU talks with Britain but remained optimistic that a deal on their post-Brexit trade relationship was still possible before year-end.

 

USD/JPY
The haven yen dropped to 105.58 against the U.S dollar despite a better than expected Japanese Services PMI earlier today.

 

AUD/USD
The Aussie dollar edged up to $0.7180 after the Australian government announced additional wage subsidies to help the labour market.

 

USD/ZAR
South Africa's rand surged to 16.48 versus the greenback on risk appetite after President Donald Trumps doctors painted an upbeat picture on Sunday.

 

USD/MUR
The USD/MUR idled at 40.35(selling) on the domestic market.
