The Japanese yen surged to 105.00 after U.S. President Donald Trump tested positive for COVID-19
Fundamental News

EUR/USD
The Shared currency dropped to $1.1725 after the European Commission said that a long-lasting appreciation of the euro's nominal effective exchange rate could hurt the euro zone's economic recovery and make the task of boosting inflation more difficult for the European Central Bank.

 

GBP/USD
The Cable dropped and popped from $1.2815 to $1.2978 on a tumultuous Thursday, in direct response to Brexit-related news, as Britain and the EU neared the end of the last scheduled round of trade talks.

 

AUD/USD
The Aussie dollar slipped to $0.7160 despite a better than forecasted Australian retail sales data.

 

USD/JPY
The Japanese yen surged to 105.00 versus the greenback after U.S. President Donald Trump said he tested positive for COVID-19 and entered quarantine.

 

USD/ZAR
South Africa's rand turned sour to 16.71 this morning dumped on risk aversion after Trump COVID news.

 

USD/MUR
The USD/MUR is unchanged at 40.35(selling) on the domestic market.
