The Euro gained few pips as falling US Treasury yields weighed on the Dollar.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro gained few pips to $1.1215 as falling US Treasury yields weighed on the Dollar. However, concerns over French fiscal pressures and political unrest are limiting the euro’s upside.

GBP/USD

The Pound Sterling fell to $1.3370 pressured by disappointing UK retail sales, which fell 0.4% in September, alongside a sharp drop in consumer confidence.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen traded cautiously at $157.05 as markets are now focused on the Bank of Japan’s October 30 policy meeting, with rates expected to remain unchanged, while markets watch for signals of a future rate hike and potential government intervention to support the currency.

AUD/USD

The Aussie Dollar continued to draw some support at $0.7025 from rising market expectations for another interest rate hike by the Reserve Bank of Australia at its upcoming November policy meeting.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar was steady at $1.4010, supported by strong Canadian retail sales and expectations of a Bank of Canada rate hike on October 28.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand slipped to $16.63 as geopolitical tensions have weighed on sentiment, increasing concerns over South Africa’s import costs and inflation.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee shed few cents to 47.82 (selling) this morning.
