The Euro leaned slightly upward with market focusing on the European Central Bank’s policy decision scheduled this afternoon.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro leaned slightly upward to $1.1435 with market focusing on the European Central Bank’s policy decision scheduled this afternoon, where the deposit rate is expected to remain unchanged at 2.25%.

GBP/USD

The British Pound remained around 1.3389 versus the U.S dollar despite UK's annual CPI inflation rate declined more than anticipated to 2.6% in June.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen ticked up to $163.12 following verbal intervention by Japanese Finance Minister Katayama. Markets stay cautious amid speculation that authorities will step in to prop up the Japanese Yen.

AUD/USD

The Australian dollar did little move at 0.7016 against the greenback amid Australia's June unemployment rate remained unchanged at 4.4%, matching market forecasts.

USD/CAD

The Canadian dollar advanced to $1.4067 as rising oil prices continue to support the Loonie.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand extended further to $16.3660 with stronger-than-expected S.A consumer inflation data. Market now await the SARB interest rate decision due this afternoon. 

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee fell by 10cents to 47.90 (selling) this morning.
