The Pound Sterling crawled lower after weak UK labor-market data reinforced concerns about slowing growth, with payrolls and vacancies falling sharply and unemployment ticking higher.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Euro collapsed to $1.1597 as market sentiment turned risk-off amid fears that the war in the Middle East could resume if Iran doesn’t reach a deal with the US.

GBP/USD

The Pound Sterling crawled lower to $1.3394 after weak UK labor-market data reinforced concerns about slowing growth, with payrolls and vacancies falling sharply and unemployment ticking higher.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen traded cautiously around 158.98 as markets continued to speculate about another potential intervention warning from Japanese officials if USD/JPY pushes higher again.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar fell below $0.7100 as geopolitical uncertainties and elevated crude oil prices weigh on the currency.

USD/CAD

The Canadian dollar was broadly steady at 1.3755 versus the greenback, supported by firmer crude oil prices though gains were limited by continued uncertainty over the Bank of Canada’s rate path as domestic growth slows.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand dipped to 16.7023 against the US dollar amid global risk appetite softened and investors reacted to ongoing concerns around South Africa’s fiscal outlook, electricity supply instability, and coalition political tensions.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee rose to 48.10 (selling) this morning.
