The Australian dollar has maintained its strength despite China’s manufacturing PMI moderating to 50.9 in July.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD

The Single currency edged higher at $1.1535 after reports that US President Donald Trump had called off an attack on Iran and talks between the two sides would happen on Monday.

GBP/USD

The British Pound climbed to $1.3477 with the Bank of England signaling the possibility of further rate increases should geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran fuel inflation.

USD/JPY

The Japanese Yen jumped to $156.45 following reports of a joint intervention by the United States and Japan last week, which fuelled speculation of further intervention.

AUD/USD

The Australian Dollar has maintained its strength at $0.7036 despite China’s manufacturing PMI moderating to 50.9 in July.

USD/CAD

The Canadian Dollar lowered to 1.4033 against the U.S dollar amid a drop in crude oil prices.

USD/ZAR

The South African Rand crawled higher to $16.4725 while an unclear South African Reserve Bank policy trajectory continue to cap investor confidence.

USD/MUR

The Dollar–Rupee cooled to 47.64 (selling) this morning.
