EUR/USD
The Shared Currency traded sidelined around $1.0610 on mixed concerns surrounding European growth, though the European Central Bank appeared more hawkish than the Federal Reserve.

 

GBP/USD
The Cable pressured below $1.2200, driven by the continued widening policy divergence between the US Federal Reserve (Fed) and the Bank of England (BOE).

 

USD/JPY
The Japanese yen regained momentum to 136.00 ahead of the BoJ monetary policy announcements on Tuesday, with chatters over BOJ’s rate hike as dovish leader Haruhiko Kuroda nears retirement.

 

AUD/USD
The Australian dollar traded rangebound around $0.6700 amid fresh Covid fears from China.

 

USD/CAD
The Loonie fell to 1.3680 as oil retreated amid a sluggish session on Friday, as the market eyes for retail sales data on Tuesday.

 

USD/ZAR
South African rand tumbled to 17.64 as investors started to price in the possibility of a global recession after major central banks said interest rates would climb further.

 

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee unfazed at 44.10 (selling).

The Canadian dollar swirled in a roller coaster move, falling to 1.3600 against the U.S. dollar as the Bank of Canada delivered a lower-than-projected rate hike of 50 basis points but later gained to 1.3530 on broad dollar weakness.
