USD/MUR clawed back gains amid BOM intervention.
Fundamental News

EUR/USD
Euro inched lower to $1.1754 in thin Easter Monday trade amid ongoing concerns in Europe, slower vaccination rate and the French government lowering its 2021 GDP growth forecast weighing on the shared currency.


GBP/USD
GBP eased to $1.3830 despite British government eyes Covid passports with a plan to back mass gatherings and concerts after completed jabbing 10% population.


USD/JPY
Yen steadied at 110.60 after Japanese Prime Minister Suga said on Sunday that he would expand emergency measures to contain a new wave of coronavirus infections amid fear of overspreading virus mutations.


AUD/USD
AUD hovered at $0.7614 ahead of the RBA's meeting on Tuesday.

 

USD/ZAR
Rand edged lower to 14.63 per greenback as Fitch Ratings has downgraded South Africa's Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating to 'BB' from 'BB+'.


USD/MUR
The pair retreated to 40.85(selling) in the wake of Bank of Mauritius' intervention on Friday.
