Fundamental News

EUR/USD
The Shared currency fell to $1.1780 on Friday after the U.S. jobless rate dropped to 8.4% from 10.2% in July. However, the pair recovered to $1.1834 on Monday, amid market awaiting European Central Bank's meeting on Thursday.



GBP/USD
The Cable remained on the back foot at $1.3224, on fears of a no-deal Brexit gained momentum, as UK PM Johnson threatened the EU to walk out with any deal.

 

USD/JPY
The Japanese yen slipped to 106.28 against the greenback, on a closed U.S market, as investors awaited the Japanese PM election due on 14th September.

 

AUD/USD
The Aussie dollar meandered at $0.7281 after China’s August month trade numbers came out better than forecast in today's Asian session.

 

USD/ZAR
South Africa's rand extended gains to 16.62 versus the U.S dollar supported by the lure of higher yields.

 

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee is unchanged at 40.20(selling) for the 12th consecutive days on the domestic market.
