AfrAsia Bank wins The Best Corporate Bank, Mauritius 2017

The Banker Africa East Africa Awards, announced AfrAsia Bank as this year’s winner for the Best Corporate Bank, Mauritius, during the fourth Banker Africa East Africa Awards, held at the Crowne Plaza, Upper Hill, Nairobi, Kenya, on 18 May 2017.

The annual Banker Africa Awards are continent-wide programmes open to all banks and financial institutions in Africa and are designed to reward and promote excellence and competition in the drive to set new standards in the industry in quality of service, best practice and financial performance.

 

"The award is a testimonial of our solid operational and technical expertise in the corporate world, both on the local and international fronts. Each year The Banker, a publication on the banking sector, acknowledges banks for the best overall performance by country and region, with the winners chosen based on analysis of their financial results, as well as their strategic developments and overall achievements in the year. The winners of the corporate Awards were the result of a stunning 77,000 votes cast by the financial services community in East Africa, the largest number in the four-year history of the Banker Africa East Africa Awards.
