All the more, we trade in both sovereign and corporate papers in MUR and hard currencies. As an authorised Primary Dealer by Bank of Mauritius, we actively buy and sell Government of Mauritius Treasury Bills, Notes and Bonds for various tenors on the primary and secondary market.
In addition to competitively-priced short to long-term Government Papers, our Money Market desk also caters for structured liquidity management solutions through repos, swaps, and reverse repos and cross currency repos.

Compared to a month ago, the 3M, 6M, 12M, 2yr and 3yr were issued 19bps, 25bps, 26bps, 17bps and 16bps higher respectively. Should we expect something similar on the 5yr auction due tomorrow?
(…) As long as the Bank continues with unplanned sizeable auctions, rates are expected to grind higher as bidders become more selective with less excess liquidity at hand. However, with the Bank capping yields on some auctions and with most excess liquidity mopped up already, we do not expect this trend to persist through to next month.
