We wish to inform you of an upcoming change to international payment instructions to ensure that your transactions continue to be processed smoothly and securely.
In line with evolving SWIFT standards for international payments, effective 10 November 2026, beneficiary bank addresses in International Transfer payment instructions must be submitted using a fully structured or hybrid postal address, replacing the current unstructured address format (three separate address lines).
To ensure timely processing of your transfers, the following mandatory information must be provided exactly as stated in the beneficiary bank’s address details:
Additionally, effective 5 October 2026, and in accordance with Bank of Mauritius requirements, the same address format will apply to MACSS transfers. However, the use of this format will not be mandatory.
For added security, we encourage you to use our secure Internet Banking platform when making payments.
Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please contact your Relationship Manager.
Thank you for your continued trust and remain committed to serving you securely and seamlessly.
