Communiqué - Public holidays
We wish to inform you that the Bank will be closed on the following public holidays:
- Friday, 08 March 2024 for the celebration of the Maha Shivaratree festival
- Tuesday, 12 March 2024 for the Anniversary of the Independence and Republic Day of Mauritius
No securities transactions, foreign exchange deals and transaction requests will be processed or settled on these days, and shall be handled on the next business day.
The central bank, stock exchange, depository and all other financial institutions will also be closed for business on these days.
