A World-Class Achievement: La Réserve Golf Links Enters the Global Top 30
As title sponsor of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, we are immensely proud to celebrate a historic milestone for Mauritian golf. For the first time a local course has been recognised among the world’s finest and we have had the front-row privilege of witnessing its rise.
La Réserve Golf Links has been ranked 28th in Golfweek's Best Top 100 International Courses outside the United States for 2026. This achievement places it in the global elite alongside legendary names such as Carnoustie and Royal Birkdale.
Most recently, the 9th edition of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open brought together some of the world's finest golfers on this remarkable course. Co-designed by architect Peter Matkovich and 2023 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open Champion, Louis Oosthuizen, the course offers panoramic views from every hole and delivers a playing experience unlike any other in the Indian Ocean.
The teams at Heritage Resorts & Golf, from greenkeeping to operations, deserve full recognition. This ranking is a direct reflection of their dedication and craftmanship.
At AfrAsia Bank, we are proud to stand alongside partners who share our commitment to excellence and to Mauritius. To the entire team at La Réserve Golf Links, congratulations. You have made history.
