Fundamental News

EUR/USD
The Shared currency bounces off from a monthly low of $1.1262 to $1.1305 as markets brace for Fed's verdict tonight amid hawkish expectations.

 

GBP/USD
The Cable recovers back above $1.3500 as FX markets continue to ignore an uncertain UK political backdrop and Covid cases, which are tumbling across the country.

 

USD/JPY
The Japanese Yen stays indecisive below 114.00 as uncertainty over Japan's economic outlook heightened due to an increase in omicron cases.

 

AUD/USD
The Aussie dollar extends gains to $0.7160, shrugging off Russia-Ukraine geopolitical tensions and downbeat IMF's growth forecasts.

 

USD/CAD

The loonie wobbles near 1.2600 versus the greenback amid Bank of Canada is widely expected to maintain the status quo on interest rate versus hawkish expectations from FED later during the day.

 

USD/ZAR
The rand traded range-bound as worries about a potential military conflict remain on the table. South Africa's central bank is expected to raise rates by 25 basis points to 4.00% at its meeting tomorrow.

 

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee creeps up at 43.75 (Selling) on the local market.
